The TIDE Experiment


TIDE was a project coordinated by l’ARP in partnership with Europa Distribution & 30 of its European distributors, Under the Milky Way, The Film Agency and 4 sales agents: Urban Distribution International, Wide, Fandango, Goldcrest.

The aim was to experiment new business models in Europe with specific attention to narrower windows (day and date models) and transversal marketing at European level. 4 European films were released in an average of 5 European territories in 2012 and early 2013.

TIDE was supported by the MEDIA Programme (Preparatory action on the circulation of films in the digital era).
